Rx-Cat 1500

Knox Video Technologies redefines CAT5/UTP signal distribution with the Rx-Cat 1500 UTP receiver. The Rx-Cat 1500 has been engineered to deliver high-resolution video over CAT5 cable, up to 1500 feet without degradation, at a resolution of 1600x1200 @60Hz.  Even at this distance, it is virtually impossible to differentiate between the remote and local display.

The Rx-Cat 1500 provides continuously variable EQ and optional skew compensation of up to 32ns in 1ns precision increments. The supported video signals include: RGBHV, RGBS, RGsB, Y/C and Composite.

Rx-Cat 500

Engineered to the same exacting specifications as the Rx-Cat 1500, the Rx-Cat 500 delivers high resolution, full motion, QXGA (1920x1440) video up to 500 feet utilizing continuous EQ for optimized image quality with built-in skew compensation of 10ns of delay for R, G, and B.

An optional second port can link to other receivers for a simple and cost-effective way to distribute video to multiple displays from a single Tx-Cat transmitter.

Rx-Cat 250

Engineered to the same exacting specifications as the Rx-Cat 1500, the Rx-Cat 250 delivers high resolution, full motion, QXGA (1600x1200) video with audio up to 250 feet utilizing continuous EQ for optimized image quality with built-in skew compensation.

Tx-Cat Universal

Designed to be used exclusively with the Rx-Cat 250/500/1500 receivers, the Tx-Cat Universal transmitters from Knox Video Technologies are essential ingredients in designing a high-resolution video distribution system. When placed at the video's source, The Tx-Cat Universal utilizes a pulse coding scheme to analyze and deconstruct the sync signal which is then reconstructed at the Rx-Cat receivers to preserve and maintain perfect signal integrity. As opposed to competing designs that force the entire sync signal down the CAT5 cable when it was only designed to travel a few meters, our sync output is identical to the input and robust drivers employed ensure that virtually any load can be driven.

Tx-Cat4

Need to transmit to multiple receivers?  The Tx-Cat4 transmitter from Knox Video Technologies works just like the Tx-Cat Universal, with the addition of a distribution amplifier and four outputs.  When placed at the video's source, the Tx-Cat 4 utilizes a pulse coding scheme to analyze and deconstruct the sync signal which is then reconstructed at the Rx-Cat receivers to preserve and maintain perfect signal integrity.  As opposed to competing designs that force the entire sync signal down the CAT5 cable when it was only designed to travel a few meters, our sync output is identical to the input and robust drivers employed ensure that virtually any load can be driven.  Available in video + audio or optional video-only configurations.
